Andy Ruiz Jr subdues Anthony Joshua rip him of all three Titles in one Night
Andy Ruiz Jr. has conquered British title-holder Anthony Joshua in the seventh round of their fight in New York to eventually become the first Mexican-American heavyweight world champion.
The underdog Andy Ruiz Jr. was awarded a technical knockout for knocking down undefeated Anthony Joshua four times in the defends of his WBA, IBF, and WBO.
Ruiz, 29, a native of California, became the first boxer of descent as he seized Joshua’s IBF, WBA and WBO titles with excessive force and heart to win a heavyweight title. The mad was arguably the biggest within the division since Hasim Rahman stopped Lennox Lewis in 2001 and brought back memories of James”Buster” Douglas’ 1990 triumph over Mike Tyson.
“I only want to thank God for providing me this victory. Without him, this would not have been possible. This is what I’ve been dreaming about. This is precisely what I’ve been working hard for, and I can not believe I just made my dreams come true” Andy Ruiz Jr said.
