Argentine football legend, Diego Maradona was reportedly arrested this week following his ex-girlfriend sued him for a $9 million pay-out.
Local media in Buenos Aires maintained that the soccer legend was detained when he flew into the Argentina capital from Mexico.
Maradona was returning to his homeland from Mexico where he’s the director of the club side Dorados de Sinaloa if he was allegedly faced and then issued a formal note of the proceeding against him against Rocio Oliva.
It was reported that Diego Maradona was talked to regarding court actions filed by his former partner Rocio Oliva, who he dated for six-year before they broke up in December this past year.
Oliva recently established a claim in the San Miguel Family Court to get” action of economic compensation” against the 58-year-old.
A court date was scheduled for Jon the 13th of June.
According to the Sun, Maradona was later discharged after many hours of interrogation, and negotiation aided from the Argentinian consul Agostini Molin.
