The Congolese citizen movement La Lucha has held protests for mobile phone operators throughout the nation in Kinshasa, the capital, and other cities.
They want lower prices for data, calls, and service that is much better. About 15 protesters were arrested in Goma, in the country’s east. They say that they had been molested by the authorities, who released them.
In Kinshasa, the capital demonstrated in front of the headquarters of Orange, one of the major operators of the country.
