Italian football club AS Roma has a made a decision to set up a Pidgin Language Twitter Account and Nigerians on the social media is reacting positively on the step.
On AS Roma website they launched the Twitter account to improve the connection with fans in Nigeria and neighbouring countries.
The club said that the account, which will be run from Nigeria’s commercial hub, Lagos, came about after suggestions from Nigerian fans.
In its first tweets it announced in pidgin “we don show” – which means “we have arrived”
