It’s astounding to discover their reasons for the sudden departure. Here are the women listed below;
Aisha Alhassan a.k.a Mama Taraba former minister of Women Affairs left her role in September 2018 to allegedly contest for the office of Governor of Taraba state.
Kemi Adeosun resigned from her role in September 2018 as Finance Minister after it was discovered her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exemption certificate.
Amina Mohammed renounced her role as Environment Minister in 2017 to apply for a role in United Nations.
Khadija Ibrahim the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs is resigning January 2019 to contest the election of House of Representatives on February 16th in her state. She is also married to a serving senator and former Governor of Yobe State, Bukar Abba-Ibrahim.
With the exception of Adeosun, is it circumstantial these women opted to leave their current post for an alternative role? or perhaps they are aiming for greener pastures? Sadly, such recurrence can only shine a light on this current regime.
