As the 2019 election is drawing close so shall more players and contesters will be revealed. The most recent is that the former governor of Cross River State, Mr Donald Duke, has declared his intention to contest for the Office of the President in the upcoming 2019 general elections.
At the annual Law dinner of the University of Nigeria, Enugu State he declared is interest to contest for the seat of president.
While He was delivering on the topic ‘Nigeria In Clear and Present Danger’, he said that although he wasn’t yet sure of the platform with which he will be contesting, he was convinced that it was time to make a move towards addressing Nigeria’s huge challenges.
He was quoted as saying that “Will and Strategies” is essential in delivering Nigeria from his present situation.
Mr Donald Duke is still a PDP member. He was also one of those who witnessed the formal registration of ADC (Africa Democratic Congress) of the former president (Obasanjo) as a member of the group, which has intention of saving the country from his present difficulties.
