Rampage has continued to trail the cities of India as citizens seek justice for the Death of an 8 year old Asifa Bano who belonged to Muslim normadic tribe. Her body was found in the forest of kathua city in Kasmir.
She was long dead since 17 January but the story became headlines this week when Hindu right-wing groups protested over the arrest of the eight suspected Hindu men. Kasmir region of India is already a religious flashpoint between different religious group. BBC Report
The men under investigation for the murder of Asifa Bano include a retired government official, four police officers and a minor – all of them belong to a local Hindu community that has been involved in a land dispute with the Muslim nomads.
The Outrage became intense after two ministers from the Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) attended a rally in support of the accused men.
